Riverside Township School District
2023 Bond Referendum
January 24, 2023
The Riverside Township Board of Education is holding a Referendum on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 6 AM to 8 PM, to ask local voters in Riverside Township to authorize the district to raise funds through the sale of bonds to finance improvements in our schools. We are proposing a Referendum with two questions. The 1st Question is for $15,866,037 (tax impact of $ 0.00 per day on an average home assessed at $151,758), and the 2nd Question is for an additional $975,000 (tax impact of $ 0.03 per day on an average home assessed at $151,758 or a tax impact of $12.04 per year on an average home assessed at $151,758).
These proposed improvements are to keep Riverside Township students safe and healthy while meeting the aspirations of the community and the educational needs of our students. This proposal positively impacts each grade level and, most importantly, will protect our school investments for years to come.
